I study mathematics education. I am particularly interested in students' beliefs and students' experiences in collegiate mathematics courses such as discrete mathematics. I am also interested in teacher education and have conducted research on teacher noticing and helping prospective teachers learn to examine and build on students' mathematical thinking.
